I have type 2C hair (dry and frizzy). I’ve tried this for a month now and sadly it doesn’t do any good to my hair. My hair still looks extremely frizzy after it dries. I love the scent though, but that’s it. I’m not sure what else to apply, to help me combat with dryness and frizziness.

The OG formula pre vinegar was the best vinegar should not be used as a leave in it’s to acidic and drying I would rather pay an extra dollar or 2 to keep the original formula IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT I’m breaking up with Shea moisture to many shortcuts and reformulations

I moved from a cool moderate humidity climate to an area that is near 94% humidity, ocean salt in the air and constant harsh winds. Add to that I am perimenopausal so hormones are depleting causing my hair to be dry and brittle. I tried this product, using a little at first. I saw an improvement but was still dry. I started to use more. I put a lot on, wrapped my hair and went to bed. My hair started to look better. Now I apply a lot after I shower, then a lot at bedtime. My hair went from troll doll wirey frizzy, back to natural waves with volume. If I get too much on my scalp it gets mildly itchy. I will take it because my self esteem and confidence are improved. I've seen products improve my hair, but my hair goes back to dry and frizzy after a while. I hope this keeps working.

This is my new favorite leave in conditioner. It makes my hair very smooth and gives me the defined curls I want. Also does not leave my hair feeling oily or weighed down. It feels moisturized.

My hair type is a 2A or 2B and I bought this at another store without knowing what hair types it's best for, but it works pretty well with my hair. The first time I used it I put a ton in my hair and when I woke up the next morning my hair was greasy feeling and heavy. After a shower it was fine, but the next time I used it I put a very small amount in my hand and rubbed it together in my hands before putting it in my hair and that worked much better, no more heaviness or greasiness. I like this product and it smells nice. Also, there is a lot of product in the little tub so it will last me a long time.

My daughter introduced me to this brand, for 30 years no conditioner has done the Job. I was so happy but I'm a little disappointed that the formula change, my favorite was Apple Cider Vinager & Castor oil w/pea protein although the smell was a little different, but I can't find it anywhere. I hope it's brought back.

This product works well to tame my frizzy curls (4/5 stars there). But the scent is that of play-doh! Thought the smell might fade after my hair dried, but it doesn’t. I’ve tried to apply other better-smelling products on top of this one to mask the play-doh scent, but I don’t get the same results. I’d only recommend this product if you don’t mind stinky hair.

I’ve been natural for 7 years, and still find it difficult to find products. Most seemed more hype than anything… until I found this!! This leave-in product is the only moisturizer I trust on my hair. It has simplified my routine. Now, I simply shampoo and use this product on most wash days. I have a nice head of hair that is rather fragile, extremely coily 4c hair. My biggest issue is mechanical damage. This conditioner is the only product I’ve found that reliably detangles my hair, and thus, avoids damage. I get so many compliments. I tell everyone who asks about it. I wish everyone could find a product that works for them as well as this does for me.
