I use it after the shower. I pat my feet dry first, and then gently scrub. If you are too overzealous it WILL hurt the next day! I always wash it afterwards and let it air dry. It has a little 'cover' attached to catch the dry skin.

This thing is AMAZING! EXACTLY what I needed, and wanted out of it. I love that there is a catcher for all the fall out, and it's pretty gentle but perfect for what it's meant for. My feet get so dry, and the amount of dead skin on them was unreal, used this.. 20 minutes later, my feet are soft and all those cracks, divets and nasty dry skin is gone! Well worth the $11 I paid. Buy it, its worth it!!!

I bought this recently to try and help get rid of some really bad calluses on my feet that have built up from years of sport. I had used other paddle foot files in the past which helped a little bit but I saw the most noticeable different with this Revlon foot file. I soaked my feet and then within 5 minutes of using the file, most of the calluses were gone! It felt like I just had a professional pedicure! I was shocked at how good my feet felt and looked with only one use. Just like with any foot file, you do need to be careful not to take off too much skin or else it can be damaging. I also love the plastic guard behind the file that catches all the skin. Overall, I love this file!

I enjoy this foot file as it provides immediate results - although very sharp at first - so please use with caution, it does tend to dull quickly./
