This shampoo from Redken smells amazing. To me it smells like a soft cologne scent. This shampoo looks so cool..it is purple. The product felt soft on my hands and in my hair. It does say to appy wearing gloves but I did not wear gloves. The shampoo did not stain my hands. My hair is very yellow blonde and very warm tone and this shampoo did work. After I blowed dried my hair I could see that my hair was a bit more cooler blonde and the yellow and brassiness was tone downed. I'm giving this a 4 instead of a 5 because I wish when washing my hair the shampoo foamed more. It did not create that soapy shampoo feeling and that kinda made me use more product because I wanted to make sure I got my hair cleaned and had the shampoo everywhere. I also wished this shampoo was vegan but I dont believe it is. Redken does offer some vegan products though. Overall I'm really pleased with this shampoo and will continue to use it.

I love this brand, but I am usually skeptical of any brand when it comes to something specialized, like this Purple shampoo for blondes. I use it regularly (not every day) and although it says to use gloves (who uses gloves in the shower?!) it was totally fine without. The smell is great, and as is consistent with Redken products, the product worked as advertised. The shampoo also cleaned really well which I don't always expect of products aiming to do a particular thing, like prevent brassiness. I would recommend this purple shampoo to anyone who wants to even out their blonde and prolong their color.

This shampoo has a very deep violet tone. It made me brass so toned down. It smells lovely and the product went far. I needed less than other toning shampoos. I recently dyed my hair pink and as my natural blonde grew through and started getting brassy, I used this to tone out my roots. It worked great!

I’ve been using a certain purple shampoo for years now ever since I became a blonde. Redken’s purple shampoo is great because it removes the yellow & keeps my blonde the ashy tone I absolutely love. The packaging is cute & the size is decent not being too small or too big. Unfortunately, as is common with purple shampoos if you leave it on for too long you’ll go from ashy blonde to lilac. I plan on purchasing more of these line of products at Ulta or wherever they’re sold.

First of all absolutely love that it does not have a strong smell to it
a lot of purple shampoos have a strong smell but this one doesn’t!  i’ve had it for about two months and it’s about halfway so love the size! Finally after the first use I saw huge difference in the brassiness in my hair! So I highly recommend

My hair tends to turn brassy/yellow over time and this shampoo does a great job of bringing me back to a cool tone. It does have a strong scent, but it is very pleasant and I do not mind it. I would definitely buy this product the next time I am looking for purple shampoo.
