I’m a fan of charcoal for deep cleansing. I use it on my eczema after I’ve been exposed to an allergen. But on my face everyday it was pretty drying, I definitely felt stripped. It’s not the worst cleanser I’ve use and oily skin might like it, but not for me since I like a gentle cleanser.

Not my Fav

I love the original Purity face wash and was excited when I saw they released other versions of it. I grabbed the charcoal because I know that ingredient is supposed to be really good for your skin. While I haven’t had any adverse reactions to using it, I don’t like it half as much as the original. The scent is a really strong perfume scent that just smells harsh to be putting on your face. I also feel like it doesn’t remove makeup as well as the original.

Please don’t take this cleanser away from me! I read limited edition and slightly freak out! This stuff has CLEARED my acne!!! It’s the only thing in the last 5 years that has done this. This stuff is amazing!

Works wonders. This face wash makes your skin feel smooth and gets rid of all the dirt of the day. Unlike other clay washes it does not turn your face cloth gray, which is a plus. It’s also gentle enough to use day and night without drying your skin out.

This was the first time I use a philosophy skincare product and it was a good experience. Usually, I try to stay away from facial products with fragrance but I didn’t mind it in this product because it wasn’t very strong. Even though the bottle states that this product is recommended to people with normal to dry skin, I would recommend this product to someone that doesn’t have dry skin because it will dry out your skin.

I like this a lot! it does the job and makes my skin feels good! I have pretty tolerant skin, so not much makes my skin freak out, so if yours does, maybe test it out first. But overall I like it. I use it with a facial brush/ scrubber to make sure my face is clean!
