Why make an eyeliner pencil that you can't sharpen? Anybody? I'm confused why the pencil is regular size but only good for a few uses since it can't be sharpened.

Got on a different website, got black (fishnet) and brown (brewed) and I love them, smooth, glide on, super pigmented, long lasting, sharpen easily with my old sharpener or another mally sharpener. Coming for more :)

I brought this a month ago and im pretty mad as much as I payed for this and it you can't sharpen it and it doesn't twist up. Why make an eyeliner that you can only use a few times???

I love love love these pencils, especially the color Nymph. It does not smudge, no matter what. I have been using these pencils the past several years now, however, I have noticed in the last year or so, something changed in the quality of the ink/pencil itself. This pencil is IMPOSSIBLE to sharpen anymore! Too soft and will not sharpen to a point. I have tried all the sharpeners on the market, from the UD Grindhouse to Laura Mercier! It just won't happen! I have even tried to refrigerate the pencil before sharpening but to no avail! Smashbox, pls help! Any suggestions or tips?

I bought an entire set of Smashbox Holidaze Always On Eyeliner Set and when I first used,them, were great.Now,I need to sharpen them.I tried to,but they do not sharpen!The liner crumbles and they are useless.I would like to know how can I use your product?Please respond.

all of ladies complaining about sharpening, I use the L'Oreal sparpener & it works great, about once a year buy a new sharpener & all good, my problem is Ulta stopped carring this product & it's the best eyeliner for my oily eye lids.

This is my second purchase of this eyeliner and I love it! I ditched my Mac eyeliner for it. I do really wish you sold a sharpener specifically for it though :( it is so difficult to sharpen.

This eyeliner (fishnet) was included with the L.A. Cover Shot Eye Palette (great set BTW)I bought. I wasn't expecting to like it but it went on great and stayed that way all day. (I usually use Stila's black liquid liner.)

Great until it came to sharpening it. I have two sharpeners, both with two different sized holes... neither could deal with this. The liner is now garbage, after only a few uses. Smashbox should sell a sharpener that works with their products easily; you shouldn't have to search the world over just to find a sharpener that's just right.

I bought a full size of this pencil after receiving a sample size in an Ipsy bag and LOVED it. I figured the full size would have more product, but when I used it and it got dull I could not figure out how to get more product out. I didn't try sharpening it since it is made of plastic, but when I got ahold of Smashbox and asked, they assured me it was able to be sharpened! Surely, I tried and it does indeed sharpen! I'm so happy there is more than just the tip of product because I LOVE how this liner glides on. I used a cheap elf sharpener to sharpen and it worked perfectly!

The eye liner truly stays on and is fantastic until you have to sharpen it. I tried 3 different sharpeners to no prevail. Smashbox doesnt offer any suggestions other than return it so I am. Smashbox did request the batch number and hopefully will get some support from the manufacture. The use of plastic casing appears to be the issue and reported in other reviews as the issue too.
