I just received my liquid lipstick in the shade liquid fire which is a warm rust shade. Gorgeous on the models and love that they show the shade on different skin tones, but when I received mine I opened the box and the shade is way more pink toned than red. I tried it on anyway just to see and it's not at all the same color or shade as it displays in the photos. Very upsetting too considering how nice the lipstick goes on and stays. But this just isn't my color and not at all what it showed in the display photos.

First, the color is more brown/peach than pictured but most importantly, it's the texture and consistency of wall spackle. It's hard to apply because it's so chalky and dry and immediately made my lips look cakey.

I had a warm rust orange smashbox lipstick and wanted to replace it. I could not think of the name and ended up ordering it based on the description/images for "Liquid Fire." Unfortunately, this is an orange red and not at all rust. Turns out the color I was looking for is "Out Loud" which is more rust than just a deep orange.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that had this problem. I went to use my Always On Lipstick tonight and it was completely dry! I've only used it MAYBE 3 times. If you know you go through lipstick every couple months, and only use one or two- this one is for you. For me, I mix it up with all of the wonderful products I have. I can't be tied down like this.

Not worth the money at all. It dries out your lips, smudges and gets everywhere and doesn't stay at all! I've got a better one that only cost me £2 but they just don't do it in the bright red colour that I wanted so decided on this product. Wish I hadn't bothered! The photo was taken after I'd warn it for about an hour.

Horrible. I bought this at Sephora (1/18) for a special event - color "disorderly" matte finish. It does not stay on my lips - even after drying for hours. It gets on my hands....bleeds on my face. Worst purchase I have ever made and most expensive lipstick I have ever purchased. First and last time I will purchase a Smashbox product. If the lipstick does not work as claimed....I can only assume none of your products will work as advertised. Never again!

I don't usually review anything, but I had such a horrible experience with these lipsticks. I bought a few of them for my birthday and hated all of them. They were so drying and chalky on my lips. Even my husband who knows nothing about makeup thought they looked horrible. The darker color, Miss Conduct, was incredibly patchy and wouldn't evenly distribute. Half of them came dried out already, so it was just a very disappointing purchase. I got them on sale, but I can't imagine paying full price for these!

I purchased BADDEST based on the photo of a pretty deep brown-ish type of nude color in the photos. What I received was a pinky nude (???). I do not like "pink" Nudes. I feel the photo was very misleading I have including a photo. I also ordered True Grit, which was a very nice shade which matched the photos nice enough. I do like True Grit. I have included a photo. Thank you. I am 48 with a deep brown complexion. I do recommend the product BUT...Not sure what to expect as far as colors go based on this experience...

This lipstick is genuinely the longest wearing lipstick ever. The pigment on it is so amazing. It's best worn when your lips are prepped. I normally prep my lips with the Smashbox O Plump before I apply any make up on then apply my lipstick last. These liquid lipsticks can also be mixed to create an ombré effect or really just your own shade. My favourites are stepping out, driver's seat, Miss conduct and big spender.
