feels nice on the skin! not sticky under moisturzer

Great affordable hyaluronic acid!

I bought this serum with the sole purpose of mixing it with the 100% L' Ascorbic Acid and I really enjoyed this! It is a bit sticky but it mixed perfectly with the powder and my skin absorbed it instantly. It never pilled and I wore it perfectly under sunscreen and makeup. I plan on repurchasing this.

I nearly didn’t purchase after reading some reviews referring to sticky pilling consistency but the price point is so good for the amount of HA and with added Panethenol, another excellent hydration ingredient so I went ahead. I find the base is light and initially smooths on very well before turning sticky as it starts to dry. I then found that if I left it alone it soaked into my skin very quickly leaving no sticky residue or pilling when the Albutrin , I also bought, was smoothed on top. I found it easier to put small amounts on the fingertips over the face, neck and chest in different stages. Yes if I’d paid twice as much I would have expected a light smooth consistency throughout but feel that I have a lot of active ingredients for my money in a format that is usable with a little care and that continuous use will show the benefit of younger looking hydrated skin. I use it all over including the eyes with no side effects and I’m nearly 70 years young; but I have also used Tretinoin most nights for the last 12 years and used that (slightly diluted) on the eyes as well. I’ve also use full spectrum SPF50 all year round with a balanced mix of low viscosity plant oils/essential oils, Squalane and vitamin E. but am finding the accessibility of more scientific products exciting, to tackle some age spots from youth when all we had was moisturiser and basic SPF. I am so pleased to have found the ordinary.

I purchased this serum because I wanted to pair it with the 100% L'ascorbic Acid Powder and I personally loved it. It is a bit sticky but not annoyingly so, and it paired perfectly with the Vit C powder! I would apply it to my face after cleansing and making sure it was damp, my skin would absorb this immediately and would look plump and bright. I love the price, that's cruelty free and vegan (most important factor for me) and I plan on repurchasing. I highly recommend this

My daughter has recently introduced me to ‘The Ordinary’ products and I’m so pleased she did. However this and other products within the range, don’t always advise whether they can be used safely around the eyes. If there’s no specific recommendations to use around or avoid the eye, do I presume they can be?

After wearing it for months, never noticed any difference. Not worth, even if it's that cheap. There are other similar Korean products around the same price which are better.

Instead of seeing a better outcome, I see peeled skin and even more dryness. Again, very weird texture. Waste of time and money
