i had a edge brush but i felt the urge to purchase this one from pattern. i was so pleasantly surprised. its the perfect size for the hand. the width and indentation for the finger to grip is perfect. it allows for a sturdy grip while brushing my edges even when my hands are wet. you can tell the quality difference from the other cheaper edge brushes. the velvet storage bag is classy as well... so glad i bought it.

I use the brush side to lay down my edges for my braids with the Pattern Edge Control. The bristles are firm, making the brush less on the soft side but it works for me. It's also a good gift idea!
